Louis Vuitton 2010 Speedy 35 in Monogram Canvas
Speedy. My name says it all. Designed not to slow you down, I’ll help keep you on pace for your quick, fast-moving lifestyle. Perfect for everyday use and travel, my purpose is to help you cut to the chase. In 1930, the Speedy was released as the Express, a nod to the evolution of rapid transit at the time.
Speed doesn’t always mean quick, however. While I’ll help you move on the express, picking up momentum, I won’t phase out just that fast. Humble in my brown monogram canvas, I’ve made vows to the ethos of circularity and slow fashion, positing a well-built handbag meant to be passed down through different cultures and generations. While articles of fashion can help one move faster, I don’t agree with the idea that fashion should be fast. As you wear me, let my name pronounce this message. Speed-y. As you interact with articles of clothing, notice the speed at which they were produced or last, and ponder “y” that matters.

Condition | Good
Origin & Date Code | Made in France, DU4140 44th week of 2010
Measurements | 13.8” L x 9.1” H x 7.1” D

More deets | Updated condition - this bag has received wonderful treatment through Sinta Sanitization. It has been thoroughly cleaned (third photo). The heat stamp has been carefully and professionally removed. Interior stains have been removed, only pen marks remain. The bag has been conditioned, and it will receive one more conditioning prior to being shipped out. Vintage smell is faint now, with the intensive cleaning performed.
Lock, no key (key #300) . Dark honey patina especially on the handles. Uneven patina (darker in some areas, slightly lighter in others) Small chip in the handle. Initials AM in a larger size on one of the chapes. Will remove foil heatstamp if buyer requests, faint indentation will remain. I noticed the initials were done on the back of the bag (not the front) so this is also favourable as it is not on the front of the bag. Interior has some stains, piping is good. Dryness in some areas. Vintage smell, will be Sinta sanitized prior to shipment. Last 6 pictures reflect the most recent state.
